Important: Deletion of user account data does not include removal from historical order records, which must be maintained for regulatory compliance.

Consumers: Borrowers, property contacts, and real estate agents receiving order updates

Note: We don't sell your personal information to other companies for marketing purposes.


5. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION

  • Appraisal reports and order data: 7 years minimum, or until it is deemed irrelevant to hold a workfile record any longer.
  • Payment records: 7 years
  • Your info on a specific order: 7 years minimum, or until it is deemed irrelevant to hold a workfile record any longer.
  • Your account information: 3 years after you stop using our services
  • Communications: 7 years

6. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

  • Encrypt data during transmission and storage
  • Multi-factor authentication for platform access

  • Background checks for employees handling sensitive data

If there's a data breach: We'll notify you within 60 days and notify regulators within 72 hours.

Please note: Appraisal Desk is not an AMC. We are a software platform that helps Appraisal Management Companies and Appraisal Desk Departments facilitate appraisal orders.
